summer of 1977: Tanana, a bush town of 300 at the junction of the Yukon and Tanana Rivers, 150 miles west of Fairbanks; worked for my father, who managed the only store in town (Alaska Commercial Company); with side trips to Fairbanks, Denali, Anchorage
summer of 1981: Anchorage, worked for Anaconda Copper Company (ARCO), with a side trip to Seward

July 3-8, 1997, (with a bonus ticket from giving up my seat last year) to visit my step-mom: Bethel, Aniak
September 5-9, 1998, (with another bonus ticket from giving up my seat): Hooper Bay, northwest of Bethel, on the Berring Sea, where you still use honey buckets.

I think I'm overdue for another trip.
