I want to thank all the people who have me in their email address books who then infected themselves with the MyDoom virus/worm this week. As of Saturday afternoon, I have received 1025 copys of the virus. Of course I have a Mac, so it can’t do any damage to my system, nor can it cause me to spread it to anyone else.
For all you people with PCs, if you can’t switch to a Mac or Linux system, at least change your email reader to something other than Outlook/Express.
UPDATE: as of Febrary 2, I’ve received 1467 copies of the virus, and 125 auto-replies saying they either can’t deliver the email because its an unknown user, or that they won’t deliver it because it contains a virus.
